Software

• A new version (1.3.3) of neotoma is on CRAN. See the package NEWS file for changes.
• A new version (0.1.4) of lawn is on CRAN. This version includes a code of conduct, small bug fixes, and implements print methods for most output objects for easier comprehension. Release notes.
• A new version (0.5.1) of gender is on CRAN. See the release notes for changes.
• A new version (2.0.3) of rfishbase is on CRAN.
• A new version (0.3.2) of spocc is on CRAN. This version adds iDigBio in as a new data source; and we have more detail in the documentation now about how we are querying each data source; and bug fixes. See the release notes for changes.
• A new version (0.1.2) of traits is on CRAN. A few minor changes. See the release notes for changes.
• We renamed solr to solrium (check it out at solrium)

Community

• We had our 6th community call on 2015-08-19, with Gábor Csárdi talking about Tools for R package development. The video recording will be up soon on Vimeo. Notes for the call on the etherpad include answers from Gábor to many questions from the audience.
• We will have our 7th community call coming up in October with Tony Fischetti talking about assertr. We’re still locking down the date and time.
